Yasutomo Sumi Ink - Black (KF)

This convenient liquid sumi ink by Yasutomo is made of high-quality vegetable oil soot. It saves time by eliminating the need for grinding an ink stick, as with traditional sumi ink. Available in two sizes - 2oz and 12oz.

The KF series contains a small amount of shellac for water resistance. The ink dries with a slight sheen effect because of this. It's a favorite among calligraphers.
